In fact, we think it’s easier than using a roll of wrapping paper - and there’s no need for tape and scissors!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHere’s how to wrap a gift using furoshiki:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eTop tip:\u003c\/strong\u003e If you are wrapping a fragile item, be sure to pad it with bubble wrap or tissue paper before wrapping it in furoshiki.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003col\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eLay your furoshiki cloth on a flat surface and place the gift on top, in the centre, with one diagonal corner of the cloth pointing towards you.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTake the corner closest to you and fold it over the gift, tucking in the extra cloth underneath the gift.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRepeat with the opposite corner that’s furthest away from you, making sure to tuck in the extra cloth at the bottom.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eYou’ll be left with two narrow sides to your left and right.
