Wool is hygroscopic, meaning it can hold a surprising amount of water without feeling wet (this is why gardeners love it!). Keep adding water until it feels damp but not soggy.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLightly sprinkle the seeds over the felt. Don’t use them all up, there’s enough in the packet for a couple of goes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePut the lid on so that it squashes the seeds into the felt.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLeave it somewhere for 24 hours.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFlip the lid, so the seeds aren’t being squashed anymore but they’re still in the dark.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLeave it another 24 hours.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTake the lid off and peer in expectantly. The seeds should have germinated.
